IH Student House

In order to offer our students more choice of affordable accommodations, we have created the IH Toronto Student House. The IHT Student house is located across the street from the IH Toronto's Campus on Jarvis Street. The Student house consists of apartments which accommodate four students each. Students are housed in single private rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.

The entire apartment unit is heated in the winter months and air-conditioned in the summer. All rooms are fully furnished private rooms with a single bed, drawer space, deck, chair, bedside table and TV set. A large fully equipped common kitchen and common bathrooms and showers are available to all residents of the house at a ratio of 1 to 4.

The house is equipped with hi-speed wireless internet access, a computer, a phone line, cable TV and a TV set in each room.

There are also laundry facilities on the group floor of the apartment at a cost of $2.25 per wash and $1.75 for drying.

A new set of sheets, a pillow, and a blanket is provided for every student upon their arrival to the student house. Students are then expected to wash and maintain their sheets and pillows. Extra sheets, pillows and blankets can be provided at an extra charge.
