Position:
TAP Administrative Assistant
Job description
- Responsible for providing administrative assistance to students and/or TAP staff during the teenage program
- Ensure students are in their bedrooms by 23:00. This has to be done together with the other activity coordinators sleeping on campus
- Supervise the TAP Interns
- Responsible for ensuring that all students are ready for the airport drop-offs; this includes informing them of the drop-off time, getting in touch with their chaperones (when applicable), knock on students’ doors when necessary etc
- Sell phone cards, money exchange, distribute the weekly newsletter, and distribute activity equipment such as balls, nets, chess etc as well as keep track of all expenditures related to this
- Assist the Head Teacher in performing administrative duties for the teaching process, such as ensuring the photocopy machine is working, there is enough paper, stationary for teachers, CD players are working etc
- Responsible for ensuring the IH tent is set and ready everyday for student and staff services
- This is an on-campus position (overnight stay is required during the program)
Qualifications
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Organized and patient
- Experience in administrative positions is definitely an advantage
